- JHJohn HodgsonApr 11, 20265.0I wouldn’t usually take the trouble to review a McDonalds, but I’m going to as I was blown away by how good the staff are. It was like walking into a proper restaurant being welcomed by Chris. He asked us how our day had been and gave us the “welcome to McDonalds”. I’d ordered through the App so he got my first name, and used to check in how our food was etc like what I was taught to do working in a posh hotel. I thought Abbey was also brilliant. I have a difficult child who won’t eat much as had never liked ice cream. I went to change the baby while the kids were waiting for McFlurrys. When I came back, I was informed the kid who doesn’t like ice cream, now does and had asked where her McFlurry was! Abbey sorted her with one after checking it was ok to give her it. I feel the staff are genuinely friendly here, overheard them checking in with other customers and thanked everyone for visiting etc. Like I say, I wouldn’t usually review many chain restaurants, but the staff in this Maccys were worth writing about.
